The two areas shown here are the kitchen located beside the indoor pool area and samples of the gilding applied to the five sets of stair ways through out the house and the bar area. Real gold was used on the gilding and a age faux applied to bring out the detail on the ornate design. In the kitchen the floor was the inspiration for the color matching the columns in the pool area. the silver leaf was applied to the moulded frames and a age over coat again brought out the beautiful detail in the design.
