Rudyak’s Marble/guilded columns

Detailed areas such as shown here with the addition of marble columns can, and do, add huge impact to a room. Faux marble is such a joy to paint, in nature the veins have much diversity and color. The crown on this column has gold leaf applied with the addition of a age finish to bring out the delicate detail of the “leafs” on the capital.
